Pengertian Simple Future Tense adalah salah satu bentuk tenses dalam tata bahasa inggris. Rumus Simple Future Tense

Simple future tense memiliki dua bentuk rumus yaitu:

1. Nominal 

• Positive  : S + will/shall + be + noun / adjective
• Negative : S + will/shall + not + be + noun / adjective
• Interrogative : will/shall + S + be + noun / adjective?

2. Verbal 

• Positive  : S + will/shall + verb 1 + object
• Negative : S + will/shall + not + verb 1 + object
• Interrogative : will/shall + S + verb 1 + object?

    - Kata keterangan waktu yang digunakan dalam Simple Future Tense adalah :next, tomorrow, soon.
    - Kata will dalam simple future merupakan salah satu dar modal auxiliary maka jika will bertemu kata can maka harus dirubah menjadi be able to untuk kata “can” nya

Fungsi Simple Future Tense

Adapun fungsi Simple Future Tense adalah sbb:

    - Digunakan dalam menyatakan atau mengungkapkan  sebuah pekerjaan atau peristiwa yang akan terjadi pada masa yang akan datang.
    - Berfungsi Untuk membuat kalimat Conditional Sentence type I.
